Compress Your Files
Files transferred via the internet should be compressed. Not only does this make file sizes smaller, it also protects the data while in transit. If you do not have compression software, go to Aladdin's website and download Stuffit. It is available for Mac and Windows, and is very simple to use. If you are using a Macintosh see the screenshot below for configuration settings. Do this then click "Next".
